About Brock Point--Our History

Brock Point is a community in Hoover, Alabama established in 2017.  Presently, there are 97 lots with 95 homes of new construction, one existing home and one vacant lot.  Originally Brock Point was owned by Harry Brock (Compass Bank) and was used as his hunting and fishing lodge.  The original property was entered off of Hwy 41 directly across from the entrance to Shoal Creek.  A winding asphalt road snaked through the trees to bring you across the dam (lots 55 & 56) to the existing lodge.  Lot 75 was a pavilion, and the large island, that is central to the property, at one time had working electricity and running water.

Brock Point boasts a 13-acre fishing lake that is maintained and cared for by a professional management company.  In addition to largemouth bass and bream, the lake hosts several bird species, ranging from ducks, to Canadian geese, to two types of blue heron.

The new construction homes are built in a modern craftsman style with large shade trees and well-maintained natural areas.  Each homesite is at least 0.5 acres.  The lake is surrounded by 32 homesites, and for those that do not have lake access, there is a kayak and canoe launch located in the western point of the lake.

Brock Point actively maintains covenants of high standards for the neighborhood.  Homeowners take pride in maintaining their properties making Brock Point an excellent investment for you and your family.
